The Action Bible Review and Giveaway

Today, I would like to share with you not one, not two, not even three, but FOUR great resources that you can use with children! First, let me describe each of them:

Action Bible Pic1. The Action Bible: Every kid loves comics. Whether it is a short comic strip or a full-length comic book, most children would be excited to read a comic book that vividly displays Bible stories. The Action Bible does this in a way that is impressive, to say the least. It is filled with story after story from the Bible, with the original Scripture reference listed at the beginning of each story. The artist does a great job of illustrating these stories in a fascinating way! I love what Christian artist Sergio Cariello did (taking his experience with Marvel and DC comics) to illustrate the Bible for children. I would especially recommend this book for elementary-age children.

2. The Action Bible Handbook: This book is a biblical dictionary with numerous people, places and things listed in it. This dictionary would be a great Bible study resource for children who are interested in learning more background information about the Bible. My favorite part of this book is that each entry corresponds with page numbers in the Action Bible and Bible verses!

3. The Action Bible Devotional: This devotional book includes 52 weekly devotions for children. Each devotional starts with a short comic, then includes a Bible verse, short story summary, the Mission suggestions for that week (praying for others, doing an act of kindness, etc), and several story questions. Overall, this looks like a good devotional for elementary-age children.

ActionBibleNewTestament_3D4. The Action Bible New Testament: This book is identical to the New Testament version of the Action Bible. It is another great Bible comic book for children.
